A Case Study in Medical Malpractice and Failure to Diagnose
Several years ago, the family of a woman who had died of ovarian cancer came to my office wanting to sue the surgeon who had operated on her – alleging that he had missed a large portion of the tumor. The family had been turned down by several other lawyers before coming to me because this kind of mistake does not always qualify as medical malpractice.
